National Instructors

Robert Green
Robert is a nationally known author and consultant with 19 years of experience in MCAD. He heads the Robert Green Consulting Group and is a 10-year veteran speaker at Autodesk University. You’ve likely read his work in CADalyst magazine or in his bi-monthly CAD Manager’s newsletter. In addition to writing, Robert provides various consulting and teaching services for clients throughout the US and Canada. Robert holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

David Piggott
Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, David provides custom training and consulting services to Autodesk product users throughout the Midwest, and classroom training for Quantum Training Centers, Inc., an Autodesk Authorized Training Center. David uses both AutoCAD and Inventor software, creating product designs for his customers. He has over 17 years of teaching experience in CAD, 3D solid modeling, and CNC programming. He is also a journeyman mold maker. David obtained a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, and an associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology from Ferris State University. He is also a popular speaker at Autodesk University.

Matt Murphy
Matt has been recognized by Autodesk as a leader in providing professional training since 1985. He has served as an advisor and consultant to the training industry as Chair of the Autodesk Training Center Advisory Board (ATCAB) and Executive Committee (ATCEC). Matt is also an Autodesk Approved Instructor (AAI) and a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT). He has received numerous instructional awards for his efforts in raising the quality of the training industry. A widely acclaimed top trainer and featured columnist for Cadalyst and AUGIWorld magazines, he has presented at Autodesk University for 12 years as one the event’s most highly rated presenters and is the North American Content Manager for AUGI events.
